Cabris is a hilltop village, perched on a high promontory directly above the town of Peymeinade, offering a panoramic view over the Bay of Cannes. It is a lovely Medieval village with a host of cafés and restaurants, one of which is located at the very top of the village in the remaining vestiges of the village chateau, the Château des Marquis de Clapiers-Cabris that dates from the 10th century. A 17th century church is located near the remains.

Wind along the narrow streets of the village past colorful medieval houses and vaulted passageways. Le Grand Pré, a large field in the center of the village hosts antique sales, circuses and special events. Ringed by shady chestnut trees it is perfect for picnicking. Small children enjoy this centrally located play area.

You can explore several prehistoric sites in the area, including bronze-age tombs, and dolmens. A hiking and biking trail leads from the village of Saint Cézaire sur Siagne to Cabris, and offers panaromic views  of the surrounding mountains.
